A Thank You Note ----------------

Good Afternoon Dolls!
As we are preparing to send back to Haiti what you have help us collect. We are again reaching out our warm appreciation once again. By not only telling you thank you, but  for giving you a little summary of what you were part of on August 28, 2010 and what you may have missed if you did not get the opportunity to attend.

The team 2Republic Events had an amazing and very successful night and we can only hope that all of you who attended, enjoyed all the perks as much as we did. For those who were unable to come, rest assure that you will be able to embrace the experience as we are already planning our next event.

We would like to express to all those who attended, and donated with all their hearts how thankful, both 2Republic Events and Mains Ouvertes are for your generosity. Not only did we meet the objective of collecting the monetary funds for the foundation, which they will receive in two weeks. They will also receive four huge boxes filled with male and female shoes, to be distributed to those in need back in Haiti. Last, they will also receive all your school supplies that many who donated were eager to provide. Again on behalf of both, the foundation Mains Ouvertes and 2Republic Events, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This night was made even more special when, the artists and speakers who were invited to perform, not only performed but really touched every single soul present that night. From the creole sound of Capo who sang about the reality of our feelings towards Haiti and let’s just say the earthquake. Then to Kym Dominique Ferguson whose poetry made some of us shed a tear or two. As the sound of his voice screaming and speaking were enough to make us see the reality that surrounded his poem; then we had Farid Reason Charles, who spoke beautifully about his experience while visiting Haiti and explained to the invitees how important it was to help this country. Than to the group who always amaze us while dancing, West Can. Than we went on to have Nella whose acoustic sound just made everyone crack a smile. To finish it all we had Miss Zina the beautiful singer who chose to speak about how she was a Haitian by spirit and what Haiti and its beautiful culture meant to her. She brought us to laughter, smile, and sometimes deep thinking. Let’s not forget Jaqueline and her daughter, who on the spot decided to add a little Spanish taste to our event. Beautiful you all were and from the bottom of our hearts we thank you, once again.

To our sponsors:

╚ New Regime, Endegee, XDGL, Madpoetix Production, Aldo & Spring Shoes, Jojo Starz, DJ Dax Thank you all!

We will continue receiving donation for another two weeks and if you are interested in seeing the items we have, please feel free to contact us.

Saturday was definitely an experience to embrace and we are grateful that you chose to share it with us.
